I am a Mortgage broker, which means I can often offer lower rates and fewer closing costs paid out of pocket. I have relationships with multiple lenders and can shop around to offer you the best loan. I also have access to multiple loan products and more competitive pricing. Why pay a higher rate when you don't have to? 


You can click on my Secure "Apply Now" button on the home page to give me the needed information to get started. Alternatively, I can assist you with the loan application over the phone or in person. The loan application provides me with your basic information including: Name, address, SSN, employment information, and income. We will run a credit report and review the information for accuracy. We will talk about available loan programs and down payment options. I will also advise you of the documents necessary for underwriting approval. If you are purchasing, I will provide you and your Real Estate agent a pre-approval letter before making an offer. If you need help finding your perfect home, I have multiple preferred Real Estate agent partners available. 


Excellent Credit scores are 750+, Good Credit scores are 700-749, Fair Credit scores are 640-699. As a Mortgage Broker, I have loan programs that allows your credit score to be as low as 580. 

  • Ensure that you are paying bills on time. Even a 30 day late on a small credit card can have a significant negative impact on your scores. 
  • Don't close old revolving accounts that are no longer in use. 
  • Don't open new accounts unless it is absolutely necessary (Inquiries may or may not affect your score depending on the rest of your credit history.)
  • Do not make any large purchases or incur large balances on your credit cards prior to your purchase or refinance. 


There are many ways to accumulate a down payment. There are programs that allow as low as 3% down, plus there are down payment assistance programs available! You can use your own money for a down payment, borrow money from family or a 401k or insurance policy,  use monies gifted to you, or ask the seller to pay all or part of the closing costs. I can help you determine the best options for down payment on your new home. 


  1. Do not change jobs
  2. Do not switch banks or move your money around
  3. Do not pay off bills unless directed to by a mortgage professional
  4. Do not make any major purchases, including vehicles or furniture


  1. I will take a loan application and review all of your documentation and credit report. This is the pre-qualification process. 
  2. Once you are pre-qualified, and your offer has been accepted on your home, my team confirms details of the loan such as the loan product, terms and associated costs so that we can submit your loan file to underwriting for approval. You will electronically sign the initial loan documents. This is the disclosure process. 
  3. I will talk to you and your Real Estate agent regarding the contract dates for home inspection, appraisal, and loan conditions deadline. This coordinates the purchase contract and loan process.
  4. Now your loan is submitted to underwriting for the file to be reviewed. Once approved the underwriter may request additional documentation. These are called conditions of approval. 
  5. After you submit any additional documents necessary and underwriting approves these, the file is approved as "Clear to Close." This means we are ready to close your loan!
  6. I make every effort to attend  your closing to answer questions as you sign your final loan documents. If you are needing to close your loan from a distance or from out of state I can be available to you on the phone or secure video.  Congratulations! You are a homeowner! 


A refinance works the same as a purchase, as listed above, with the exception of the involvement of a Real Estate agent and a purchase contract. It can be done in a shorter time frame than a new home purchase.
